Off topic: I want WP Questions to be helpful to everyone in need of WP Questions help, and yet I don't think this site is ideal for projects that are this big. I'm not sure if the site can be changed in ways to accomodate big projects. WP Questions is set up for questions that can be answered in a few hours.
I will tell you a painful story: a few months back someone offered $200 for a big project. One of the experts said "I can do it". And then 3 weeks passed. Then the asker wrote to us and said, "Hey, the expert who said they could help never did. Would you please refund the $200?" We refunded the $200. Generally, we respect any refund request. However, the money had already gone into the Community Pot and been paid out to the experts. So we had been paid $200, but we paid out $400. So we lost $200 dollars. WP Questions only makes $50 in profit a week, and that is a good week. So we lost a month's worth of profit.
I'm thinking of limiting the prizes to $50, and encouraging people to just ask questions. Maybe big projects can be broken up into smaller questions?
